This homemade paçoca recipe from Portal Umami is simple and quick, perfect for any occasion. Grab the roasted peanuts and let’s go!

Ingredients

  • 500 g peanuts, roasted and peeled
  • 1 cup sugar (150 g)
  • half a cup yellow cornmeal (100 g)
  • half a teaspoon salt (2.5 g)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (60 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. In a food processor, place the peanuts, sugar, cornmeal, salt, and butter, gradually, and process for 2 minutes, or until it becomes a moist crumb mixture.
  2. Transfer to small individual cups and serve immediately.

Tip: this recipe will not have the same result if prepared in a blender.
