Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (45 ml)
  • half teaspoon salt (2.5 g)
  • 6 slices whole wheat sandwich bread (150 g)
  • 1 and a half cups shredded mozzarella (120 g)
  • 1 and a half cups cherry tomatoes cut into 4 parts (200 g)
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped arugula (30 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. In a small bowl, place the olive oil and salt, and mix. Brush the bread slices with half of the seasoned oil and arrange them on a medium baking sheet.
  2. Divide the mozzarella among the slices and top with the tomato, previously mixed with the remaining oil.
  3. Bake in a medium oven (180 degrees), preheated, for 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
  4. Remove from the oven, top the bruschettas with arugula and serve immediately.

Tips:

  1. Before serving the bruschetta, drizzle the arugula with a little olive oil.

  2. Whenever possible, consume whole grain products: bread, pasta, rice, cookies, wheat flour, and cereals. In addition to consuming more fiber and enriching your diet with minerals and vitamins, it helps keep you full longer, aiding in a weight loss process.
