Umami Burger

Burgers are always a hit, but with our recipe, everyone will fall in love with your burger!

In just 25 minutes, you’ll prepare a truly umami sandwich, mouthwatering and delicious. Check out all the details of our homemade burger recipe.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise (60 g)
  • half teaspoon granulated dehydrated garlic (1.15 g)
  • half teaspoon flaked dehydrated onion (0.8 g)
  • 300 g ground beef (patinho cut)
  • 1 cup chopped bacon (100 g)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (16 g)
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 8 drops red pepper sauce (40 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon oil (15 ml)
  • 1 small onion, sliced (100 g)
  • 2 hamburger buns, halved horizontally (100 g)
  • 4 thin slices tomato (200 g)
  • 4 leaves iceberg lettuce (80 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. In a small bowl, place the mayonnaise, garlic, and onion, and mix. Refrigerate.
  2. In a medium bowl, place the beef, bacon, Parmesan, salt, and pepper sauce, and mix well until uniform. Shape into 2 burgers, 12 cm in diameter.
  3. In a medium nonstick skillet, add half the oil and heat over high heat. Add the burger and fry for 8 minutes, turning halfway, or until golden. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil and onion. Sauté for 3 minutes or until it starts to brown. Remove and keep with the burger.
  5. Wipe the skillet with a paper towel and return to high heat. Place the bun halves cut-side down and toast for 30 seconds, or until lightly browned. Spread the seasoned mayonnaise on both halves of the buns.
  6. Assembly: on the bottom half of the bun, place a burger, then the onion, tomato, and lettuce. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
