Tomatoes Stuffed with 3 Cheeses

A different and flavorful preparation that works for any occasion and pleases everyone!

Cream cheese, mozzarella, and parmesan give the tomatoes a special touch, creating an incredible umami experience. Check out the full recipe details and start cooking!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella (50 g)
  • ½ cup cream cheese (100 g)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (50 g)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano (0.5 g)
  • 4 medium tomatoes (600 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mozzarella, cream cheese, parmesan, and half the oregano. Mix and set aside.
  2. Slice off the tops of the tomatoes and, using a spoon, carefully remove the seeds and pulp.
  3. Stuff the cheese mixture into the tomatoes and place them in a greased medium baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining oregano.
  4. Bake in a preheated medium oven (180 °C / 350 °F) for 40 minutes, or until the tomatoes are soft.
  5. Remove from oven and serve immediately.

Tip: Use the tomato tops and pulp to make a tomato sauce.
