Steamed vegetables with garlic and oil

Ingredients

  • half a carrot, sliced (60 g)
  • 1 zucchini, sliced (180 g)
  • 2 cups of broccoli florets (140 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (30 ml)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, pressed (10 g)
  • half a teaspoon of salt (2.5 g)
  • a pinch of black pepper

Modo de preparo

  1. In a steamer pot with boiling water, place the carrot and zucchini. Cover and cook for 4 minutes, or until the zucchini is “al dente.” Add the broccoli, cover, and cook for 2 more minutes, or until all the vegetables are tender. Remove from the heat.
  2. In a large skillet, place the olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for half a minute, or until golden. Add the cooked vegetables and stir. Season with salt and pepper, and mix.
  3. Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
