Raspberry sauce for tender

Ingredients

  • 300 g raspberries
  • 150 ml dry red wine
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 medium onion, grated (150 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of honey (36 g)
  • half a teaspoon of salt
  • a pinch of black pepper

Modo de preparo

  1. In a blender, place the raspberries and red wine, and blend on medium speed until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, place the olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 1 minute, or until softened. Add the blended raspberries, honey, salt, and pepper, and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes, or until thickened.
  3. Remove from the heat and serve with the pre-roasted tender.
