Potatoes with 3-Cheese Sauce

Just bring together mozzarella, parmesan, and provolone for a mouthwatering result. Learn this simple recipe and shine at any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (15 g)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella (150 g)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (50 g)
  • ½ cup grated provolone cheese (50 g)
  • 1 cup creamy cheese spread (requeijão) (200 g)
  • 1 cup milk (200 ml)
  • 1 kg potatoes, sliced and precooked
  • ½ teaspoon oregano (0.2 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over high heat.
  2. Reduce the heat and add ½ cup of the mozzarella (50 g), the remaining cheeses, the cheese spread, and the milk. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until the cheeses are melted.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in cilantro
  4. In a medium baking dish (20 × 30 cm), layer the cheese cream and potatoes, finishing with a potato layer.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and oregano on top. Bake at 180 °C for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
