Portuguese Salad

How about a different salad? This Portuguese salad recipe with cod is simple, quick, and serves up to four portions.

Chickpeas come together with cod to make this preparation even better and full of umami!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (tea) chickpeas, soaked and cooked “al dente” (135 g)
  • 200 g desalted cod, cooked and shredded
  • 2 tablespoons (soup) sliced black olives (20 g)
  • 3 tablespoons (soup) extra virgin olive oil (45 ml)
  • 1 pinch salt (0.4 g)
  • 2 packages of mixed greens (200 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. In a large bowl, place the chickpeas, cod, olives, olive oil, and salt, and mix.
  2. In a large salad bowl, arrange the greens and place the chickpea mixture on top.
  3. Serve immediately.
