Miso soup with tofu

Preparation time:

Serves: 5 portions

There’s nothing better than a well-seasoned miso soup for a light and tasty dinner!

With this special recipe from Portal Umami, you’ll transform your miso-shiru with tofu using HONDASHI®, a delicious bonito fish-based seasoning. Oh, and this delight is ready in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 sachet of HONDASHI® bonito fish-based seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons of miso (60 g)
  • 1 cup of tofu, cubed (160 g)
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped green onion (15 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. In a medium saucepan, place the water and bring to a boil over high heat. Once it boils, add the HONDASHI® and mix well.
  2. Using a strainer, add the miso by dissolving it into the liquid in the pan and discard the residue. Stir and remove from the heat.
  3. Add the tofu and green onion, and serve immediately.

Tips:

  1. It is important to dissolve the miso with the help of a strainer so that the preparation is more homogeneous and without residue.

  2. After adding the miso to the preparation, do not let it boil.
