Corn Ribs (“Mini Corn Spare Ribs”)

These air fryer corn ribs are a simple and easy recipe to make, and they’re ready in no time.

Choose the best corn cobs, parmesan cheese, and all the seasonings.

With this Portal Umami recipe, flavor is guaranteed!

Ingredients

  • 2 small corn cobs (400 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • half teaspoon hot paprika (2 g)
  • 2 pinches salt (0.8 g)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted melted butter (15 g)
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated parmesan cheese (16 g)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (5 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. Using a knife and carefully, cut the corn cob into 4 parts lengthwise, and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, add the olive oil, paprika, and salt, and stir.
  3. Add the corn and mix until it is completely coated with the seasonings.
  4. Place in the air fryer basket and cook at 200°C / 400°F, preheated, for 10 minutes, or until golden and the corn is cooked.
  5. Remove from the air fryer, brush with the melted butter, and sprinkle with the grated cheese and cilantro.
  6. Serve immediately.

Tip: to make cutting the cob into 4 parts easier, make a cut at the base of the cob to give it more stability.
