Chicken Nuggets with Nutmeg

Ingredients

  • 300 g skinless, boneless chicken breast, ground
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion (10 g)
  • half teaspoon salt (2.5 g)
  • half teaspoon ground nutmeg (1.3 g)
  • half teaspoon lemon juice (2.5 ml)
  • 2 eggs (100 g)
  • 1 cup fine rolled oats (90 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. In a medium bowl, place the ground chicken, onion, salt, nutmeg, and lemon juice, and mix. Add 1 egg and 4 tablespoons of oats, and mix until the dough holds together.
  2. Divide into 12 equal portions, shape into balls, and gently flatten to form mini burgers.
  3. Dip them in the lightly beaten egg and then in the remaining oats. Place on a greased baking dish, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze for 15 minutes to firm up.
  4. Remove the plastic wrap and bake in a medium oven (180 degrees), preheated, for 20 minutes, turning halfway through, or until lightly golden.
