Blender Tuna Pie

This dish makes enough for the whole family to enjoy during a Sunday snack! And to make it even tastier, we add our umami touch: grated parmesan cheese. Try it out!

Ingredients

  • Dough

    • 2 cups milk (400 ml)
    • ½ cup oil (100 ml)
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese (100 g)
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour (220 g)
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder (12 g)
  • Filling

    • 2 cans tuna chunks, drained (260 g)
    • 1 small onion, chopped (100 g)
    • 1 cup sliced green olives (100 g)

Modo de preparo

  1. Prepare the dough: In a blender, combine the milk, oil, eggs, and parmesan. Blend on medium speed for 2 minutes, or until smooth.
  2. Transfer to a large bowl and gradually add the flour, mixing until incorporated.
  3. Add the baking powder, mix gently, and set aside.
  4. Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, mix the tuna, onion, and olives.
  5. In a greased and floured medium baking dish (20 x 30 cm), pour half of the batter, add the filling, and cover with the remaining batter.
  6. Bake in a preheated medium oven (180 °C / 350 °F) for 55 minutes, or until golden on top and fully cooked.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
